Profile Settings
Manage your personal account settings in Infera.
Accessing Profile Settings
Profile settings are not currently available as a separate page in Infera. Account-level management (plan, billing, payment methods) is accessible via the Account button in the firm sidebar.
Personal Information
Update your basic information:
- Name - Your display name
- Email - Your login email (requires verification to change)
- Phone - Contact phone number
- Profile Photo - Upload a photo or avatar
Changing Your Email
To change your email address:
- Enter the new email address
- Click Update Email
- Check your new email for a verification link
- Click the link to confirm the change
- Your login email is now updated
Password
Changing Your Password
- Click Change Password
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password
- Confirm the new password
- Click Update Password
Password Requirements
- Minimum 8 characters
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one lowercase letter
- At least one number
- At least one special character
Two-Factor Authentication
Add an extra layer of security:
Enabling 2FA
- Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
- Enter the 6-digit code from the app
- Save your backup codes in a secure location
- 2FA is now active
Using 2FA
When logging in:
- Enter your email and password
- Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app
- Click Verify
Disabling 2FA
- Go to Profile Settings
- Click Disable Two-Factor Authentication
- Enter a code from your authenticator app to confirm
- 2FA is now disabled
Notification Preferences
Control how you receive notifications:
Email Notifications
- Document shared with me - When someone shares a document
- Document viewed - When your shared documents are viewed
- Upload received - When files are uploaded via your links
- Team updates - When team members are added/removed
In-App Notifications
- Real-time alerts - Show notifications in Infera
- Sound - Play a sound for new notifications

Connected Accounts
Link external accounts:
- Google - Sign in with Google
- Microsoft - Sign in with Microsoft
Linking an Account
- Click Connect next to the service
- Sign in to the external service
- Authorize the connection
- You can now sign in with that account
Unlinking an Account
- Click Disconnect next to the linked service
- Confirm the disconnection
- You'll need to use email/password to sign in
Sessions
View and manage your active sessions:
- See all devices where you're logged in
- View last activity time
- Log out of specific sessions
Logging Out Everywhere
To log out of all devices:
- Click Log Out All Sessions
- Confirm the action
- You'll need to log in again on all devices
Deleting Your Account
To delete your Infera account:
- Click Delete Account
- Enter your password to confirm
- Acknowledge that this action is permanent
- Click Delete My Account
Warning: This permanently deletes your account and all your data. This cannot be undone.
