Profile Settings

Manage your personal account settings in Infera.

Accessing Profile Settings

Profile settings are not currently available as a separate page in Infera. Account-level management (plan, billing, payment methods) is accessible via the Account button in the firm sidebar.

Personal Information

Update your basic information:

  • Name - Your display name
  • Email - Your login email (requires verification to change)
  • Phone - Contact phone number
  • Profile Photo - Upload a photo or avatar

Changing Your Email

To change your email address:

  1. Enter the new email address
  2. Click Update Email
  3. Check your new email for a verification link
  4. Click the link to confirm the change
  5. Your login email is now updated

Password

Changing Your Password

  1. Click Change Password
  2. Enter your current password
  3. Enter your new password
  4. Confirm the new password
  5. Click Update Password

Password Requirements

  • Minimum 8 characters
  • At least one uppercase letter
  • At least one lowercase letter
  • At least one number
  • At least one special character

Two-Factor Authentication

Add an extra layer of security:

Enabling 2FA

  1. Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication
  2. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
  3. Enter the 6-digit code from the app
  4. Save your backup codes in a secure location
  5. 2FA is now active

Using 2FA

When logging in:

  1. Enter your email and password
  2. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app
  3. Click Verify

Disabling 2FA

  1. Go to Profile Settings
  2. Click Disable Two-Factor Authentication
  3. Enter a code from your authenticator app to confirm
  4. 2FA is now disabled

Notification Preferences

Control how you receive notifications:

Email Notifications

  • Document shared with me - When someone shares a document
  • Document viewed - When your shared documents are viewed
  • Upload received - When files are uploaded via your links
  • Team updates - When team members are added/removed

In-App Notifications

  • Real-time alerts - Show notifications in Infera
  • Sound - Play a sound for new notifications

Connected Accounts

Link external accounts:

  • Google - Sign in with Google
  • Microsoft - Sign in with Microsoft

Linking an Account

  1. Click Connect next to the service
  2. Sign in to the external service
  3. Authorize the connection
  4. You can now sign in with that account

Unlinking an Account

  1. Click Disconnect next to the linked service
  2. Confirm the disconnection
  3. You'll need to use email/password to sign in

Sessions

View and manage your active sessions:

  • See all devices where you're logged in
  • View last activity time
  • Log out of specific sessions

Logging Out Everywhere

To log out of all devices:

  1. Click Log Out All Sessions
  2. Confirm the action
  3. You'll need to log in again on all devices

Deleting Your Account

To delete your Infera account:

  1. Click Delete Account
  2. Enter your password to confirm
  3. Acknowledge that this action is permanent
  4. Click Delete My Account

Warning: This permanently deletes your account and all your data. This cannot be undone.
