Getting Started with Infera Law

Welcome to Infera! This guide will help you get up and running to streamline your family law discovery process.

What is Infera Law?

Infera Law is an AI-powered discovery platform built specifically for family law attorneys. What makes Infera different:

• Automatic document classification - Infera's AI analyzes uploaded documents to identify their type (e.g., paystubs, tax returns, bank statements)
• AI document reading - When you upload documents, Infera automatically reads them and extracts key information like income, expenses, assets, and debts
• Auto-populated Financial Affidavits - Extracted data is used to automatically fill out financial affidavits for you
• Client upload links - Let clients upload documents without creating an account
• Smart reports - Track what documents you've received and what's still missing
• Secure sharing - Share documents with clients and opposing counsel securely

Creating Your Account

1. Visit inferalaw.com and click Sign Up
2. Enter your email address and create a password
3. Complete your profile information

First Steps After Signing Up

Once your account is created, here's what to do next:

1. Add Your Credit Card

Set up billing to unlock all features. See Adding Your Credit Card for details.

2. Invite Team Members

Add colleagues to your firm so they can access cases and documents. See Inviting Team Members for details.

3. Create Your First Matter

Matters are how you organize cases in Infera. Create a matter for each client or case, then upload documents to that matter. Infera will automatically read and extract data from the documents you upload. See Creating a Matter for a walkthrough of the matter wizard.
