On a matter's Documents tab, use the buttons under Filter By to narrow the list:
- Document Type — choose one or more recognized document types. The menu is grouped into Income & Assets, Debts & Liabilities, and Other, with brokerage, retirement, and loan statements listed separately.
- Status — show processing, processed, failed, or duplicate files.
- File Information — search by document name, choose an upload-date range, limit the list to a party, or show documents uploaded through a link.
- Document Request — limit the list to documents linked to a specific document request. This filter appears when the matter has requests.
Infera Law also adds filters for the specific records it finds in the matter. Depending on what has been uploaded, you can narrow the list to an individual bank, credit-card, brokerage, retirement, or loan account; an employer; a tax return; an insurance policy; or a particular record such as a 1099, Schedule K-1, deed, promissory note, loan application, financial affidavit, or court order.
When you select an account-based filter, Statement Dates lets you limit results by statement period. Every active choice appears under Applied Filters; remove a single filter there or click Clear all to start over.
